ABOUT THE FUND

The Healing Hearts Bereavement Fund, an initiative of Covenant Lives Healing Heart Agency Inc., provides financial stabilization and structured support to families navigating pregnancy loss, infant loss, and end-of-life transitions during vulnerable seasons of grief.

COMMUNITY NEED

Grief does not pause bills, travel costs, or memorial expenses. Families often face:

• Funeral and memorial expenses
• Unpaid leave or income disruption
• Medical and transition-related costs
• Travel and logistical burdens

The Bereavement Fund exists to bridge these gaps with structured, documented assistance.

HOW CONTRIBUTIONS ARE USED

All contributions support:

• Direct family assistance
• Emergency bereavement support
• Memorial and ceremony resources
• Grief education and community programming

Funds are allocated under structured guidelines with documented tracking and reporting.

APPLYING FOR ASSISTANCE

The Healing Hearts Bereavement Fund provides financial stabilization and workforce support through a structured quarterly review process.

This ensures equitable distribution, transparent documentation, and sustainable regional impact

Family Stabilization Assistance

Who May Apply

Available to households navigating:
• Pregnancy or infant loss
• End-of-life transitions
• Grief-related emergency financial strain

Workforce Support:
• Community-based doulas
• Midwives
• End-of-life care practitioners
Serving high-need communities and experiencing hardship or seeking professional development support.

Assistance Structure

Family Assistance
Up to $1,000 per household per cycle

Emergency Micro-Relief
Up to $250 (limited case-by-case review)

Workforce Relief or Scholarship
Up to $2,500 annually per provider

Funding amounts are determined based on documented need and available resources.

Applications are reviewed quarterly:

Application Review Cycles

Q1: January–March
Q2: April–June
Q3: July–September
Q4: October–December

Applicants are notified within 14–30 days following the close of each cycle.

Limited emergency requests may be considered outside of cycle review.

Required Documentation May Include:

Brief description of circumstance
• Proof of financial need (invoice or statement)
• Identification verification
• For workforce applicants: verification of service or credential
