The witness archive documents real moments of birth, bereavement, remembrance, ceremony, grief, healing, and life transitions. Some photographs may include sensitive or emotionally evocative imagery related to pregnancy or infant loss, death, memorialization, or end of life experiences.
These images are here to remember that no transition happened unseen. Someone was present. They are not presented for shock or spectacle, but as a part of an honest visual record of what it can mean to witness another person through life's most profound transitions.
Please honor your own capacity as you continue. You are welcome to pause, leave, or return when the time feels right.
By continuing, you acknowledge that some images may be sensitive in nature.
Every transition deserves a witness.
Some moments are celebrated loudly. Others happen quietly. Birth. Loss. Becoming. Remembrance. Returning. Witness is a living archive of the people, ceremonies, gatherings, sound experiences, and life transitions I have been entrusted to accompany. These images are not here simply to document events. They are here to remember that someone was present.
Someone gathered the flowers.
Someone prepared the room.
Someone spoke the name.
Someone held the silence.
Someone washed the feet.
Someone struck the bowl.
Someone made space for grief and joy to exist together.
And someone witnessed the transition.

To be witnessed is to have someone recognize that something has changed.
Not to fix it.
Not to rush it.
Not to tell you what it should mean.
But to honor the person you were, the moment you are living, and the person you are becoming.
Every transition deserves a witness.
